The self-proclaimed oldest brewery in America is headed to the region

Oklahoma beer lovers will soon be able to enjoy a Yuengling in the Sooner State.

Yuengling Brewery, the self-proclaimed oldest brewery in the U.S., announced this week that would start sending its lager to Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.

"These states are home to passionate fans, loyal beer drinkers and partners," Wendy Yuengling said in a social media video. "And we're looking forward to bringing the goods to fans across these states."

Yuengling was established in 1829 in Pennsylvania and has recently started expanding west. The brewery has been recognized as one of the top craft breweries in the nation, with its beer routinely being selected among the best in the United States.
