Your position as General Manager is to ensure that staff from top down understand the Evil Genius brand, and are able to give guests the Evil Genius experience. Your goal is to increase revenue and ensure new and repeat customers for The Lab while training, delegating and managing staff to the most optimal level. You also work well interdepartmentally assisting sales as needed and ensuring account visits are properly run. Overall you are to manage daily operations and  direct reports while maintaining the standard of service that Evil Genius requires.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Managing daily operations: scheduling shifts, managing tap room staff, overseeing kitchen personnel, ordering supplies, building maintenance and ensuring optimal guest experience

HR activities including: hiring, onboarding, training, maintaining, updating, reviewing and off-boarding all tap room staff

Financial responsibilities include: submitting payroll to accounting (bi-weekly), daily tip outs for tap room staff, handling petty cash, weekly bank trips

Oversee The Lab’s POS System: all items are entered correctly, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring it’s ready for use in daily service

Organizing and scheduling all events: including set up, breakdown, scheduling with staff & vendors, and obtaining any necessary permits/certifications

Coordinating all wholesale/account visits: ensuring we are staffed properly, kitchen is prepped and a space is reserved for visits

Weekly one-on-ones with direct reports (assistant general manager, floor manager, kitchen lead)

Delivering exceptional standards of quality, service, and product to our customers that match the expected Evil Genius experience standards

Organizing and leading brewery tours: including giving tours yourself or scheduling staff to give tours

Responsible for reaching revenue, sales, event and staffing goals set by owners

Creating weekly and monthly reports to be presented to management

Embodies Evil Genius culture through hustle, results, interactions, and communication; appreciates and recognizes excellence.

Performs fantastic customer service and provides on-point communications with customers and inhouse teams.

Carries out duties in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.

Complies with all Evil Genius policies and procedures.

Strengthens the company through process improvement and self-betterment.

Performs other projects and duties as requested and/or needed.

Ability to navigate office environment and sit for extended periods of time

Using basic office equipment such as computers, printers and department specific equipment

Lift a minimum of 32 pounds
